Calculate the floor area (length x width) in square meters.
Factor in Fixed Objects: Subtract the area occupied by fixed objects like baths and pedestals from the total floor area.
Allow for Edge Gaps: Deduct an additional 10% to account for the necessary gap around the edges of the room.
